Catherine
has a passionate concern for fighting injustice and oppression,
environmental, animal, and social. Nationally,
Catherine supports reinvigoration of citizen activism and
democratic political participation, as well as the inclusion of
all Americans in the benefits of national prosperity, and the
defense of a damaged and polluted environment. Locally,
Catherine is particularly concerned for efforts to purify
drinking water; more stringent air pollution controls;
strengthening labor; and encouraging preventive, community-based
